All these connections/thoughts take place more or less simultaneously, on different levels, consciously and subconsciously, and as the current visits a container, it alters it a bit.
Me, looking at this model, talking to a man with springy red hair who just entered: โA great model, donโt you think?โ
Man: โBut is it accurate?โ
Me, looking at the reader: โLet me introduce you: this is Yiri, my husband! Heโs a comic artist as well, and he colors this book!โ
Thinking on your own is all well and good, but new thoughts only really thrive on a bit of input and back-and-forth!
Yiri, knocking on a glass box in which I am isolatedly thinking thougths: โHave you tried this thought yet?โ
Me, in a car on the freeway: โThinking by yourself is like riding the freeway: quick and easyโฆโ
Yiri, pointing to an exit off the โTrodden Pathโ, to โelsewhereโ: โโฆbut you can only reach your destination by pulling off the road somewhere. This way!โ
Yiri: โI see the brain more like a computer with internet-access. When the computer breaks down, itโs not the end of the internet - or of the person behind the screen!โ
Me: โInteresting! Reality is full of information we can not perceive directly - we can only access it with the appropriate devicesโฆโ (we see a figure walking through radiowaves and internet, with a picture of a radio and a computer in tow)
Me: โWe can consider body and brain as instruments, tuned especially to receive sensory reality! Body and brain as โreality browserโ!โ
Taking the โreality-browserโ-analogy, then THINKING is the method by which our instrument (body+brain) processes the information we receive. (picture of a brain, processing Reality through the Senses into Reality As We Perceive It)
Me: โMaybe there are more methods of processing than just our own - just as there are different methods in computer programming. And maybe the end of the body and brain is not necessarily the end of consciousness!โ
Me: โAt least, thatโs what I like to think! And who knows what Iโll be thinking at 45!โ
Yiri: โBecause THINKING is constantly changing! Especially when you get regular input - and accept it!โ
